Introduction to Highway Engineering: Types of roads (NH, SH, Village road); Road structure (Subgrade to Bituminous layer)

Drawing Reading (Highway): L-section & Cross-section; Road alignment; Profile drawing understanding

Earthwork Calculation: Cutting & filling calculation; Cross-section method; GSB (Granular Sub Base) quantity

WMM & Bituminous Work: Compaction & thickness calculation; Layer thickness; Material consumption; Prime coat & Tack coat; BM, DBM & BC layer calculation

BOQ Preparation: Item description (as per PWD/NHAI); Quantity sheet preparation; Abstract sheet; Material + Labour + Machinery cost; Bitumen, Diesel & plant cost
